Yesterday, in DT (Design and Technology) we took part in the making of some ‘Titanic’ meals: a third class rice soup (broth) and a first class trifle.
We used our skills to peel and chop vegetables, whisk the cream and boil the rice. As well as learning about how to prepare ourselves when working in the kitchen.
Today, we evaluated our soup and trifle. Some of us liked it and some of us didn’t. We then researched the nutritional aspects of some of the ingredients.
