Today, Warburtons came into school to visit Denim Class. We learned about healthy eating before making our own sandwiches and tasting different Warburtons products. As part of our Vikings Theme we have been learning about Scandinavia. In our art lesson this week, we used chalk pastels to create images of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). They look fantastic!
In Denim Class this term, we are learning about Earth and Space in our Science lessons. So far we have learned about the movement of the Earth and why we have night and day. The children are really interested in the topic and have lots of challenging questions!
On Friday, Year 3 set up their own Langar in the studio. A Langar is a community kitchen which can be found inside a Sikh Gurdwara. Sikhs prepare and serve food for free to anyone who visits. People sit on the floor to eat their food to show that everyone is equal. The Langar is…
