Poppy Class have been celebrating Chinese New Year this week and this year is the year of the pig. We listened to Chinese dragon music and practised using our colourful dragon to dance around the classroom.

We are really proud of our Reading Corner in Class. The children have been enjoying reading books to each other and we have talked about how to look after books. We all had a fantastic day at the Safari Park and we really enjoyed seeing all the animals and visiting Santa in his Grotto. Today was our trip to the cinema and our party day. Thank you to Parents for all the party food and cards and gifts. Happy Christmas to you all.
This morning, Sue and Lorraine (the School Nurses) came to tell us all about how to wash our hands properly and how to brush our teeth. We were given a brand new toothbrush and some toothpaste to take home. It was a very interesting morning.
