In November, children wore their slippers in school to help raise money for the homeless. We enjoyed wearing our warm and cosy slippers knowing that we helping others at the same time.
Today (28.11.18) all of Key Stage 2 went to watch the adaptation of David Walliams – Awful Auntie, at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham. It was a great experience enjoyed by all. Click to see the theatre.
Our half -term task was to design and create a Roman helmet. Sky Class did not disappoint! We each presented our design to the whole class, explaining how we made our helmets and what materials we used. There were many inventive creations, each one different to the next.
On Thursday 18th October, Sky Class were lucky enough to be taught some Indian dancing. We learnt some great moves which we put together to create a super dance. We now do this as a warm up in P.E.!
On Thursday 4th October, Year 4 travelled to Wroxeter to experience walking in Roman footsteps from 2000 years ago. We imagined we were Roman citizens of the city of Viriconium. Key Stage 2 had a fantastic time during sports day. Well done to Griffin House for winning the House Cup.
KS 2 had the opportunity to watch the CBSO perform at Symphony Hall. We had an amazing experience and learnt about the instruments of the orchestra and the purpose of the conductor. It was awe inspiring. Thank you Mrs Baker and Miss Bedesha for organising it all. We can’t wait until next year.
