What an amazing day we have had in Willow class. Today we learnt how to sew. We initially practised a running stitch on larger material and then we designed a badge which was personal to us. Afterwards we spent the rest of the day transferring our design and sewing. We used our BLP skills of absorption, perseverance, planning, listening and patience. We have all been extremely successful and both Mrs Millward and Miss McGettrick are blown away by our achievements.

Today we have had a visit from Oldbury fire station crew to teach us about fire safety and the role that they do. We also had the opportunity to look at all the equipment on the fire engine.
