In Year 4 Ocean we read the book ‘Under the same sky’ by Britta Teckentrup. It is all about tolerance and understanding and reinforces that we are all unique but the same. We considered the book’s message and wrote about our interpretation on ‘thought clouds’. We also created our own rhyming couplets based on the examples from the text. We all celebrated this special day by dressing up as characters from our favourite books and you can see our efforts in the picture attached.
