On Friday, Year 3 set up their own Langar in the studio. A Langar is a community kitchen which can be found inside a Sikh Gurdwara. Sikhs prepare and serve food for free to anyone who visits. People sit on the floor to eat their food to show that everyone is equal. The Langar is a way for Sikhs to be charitable and think of others before themselves. We enjoyed tasting naan bread, poppadoms, raita and mango chutney.
