On Thursday the 7th of June we went on a bus ride to the Gurdwara on Smethwick High Street. First, we washed our hands and went to the Langar. Next, we had some yummy handmade chips with tomato sauce. Then we then went to the main hall to learn about Guru Nanak and the 5Ks of Sikhism. After that, we looked in Guru Granth Sahib’s bedroom and then went the Prayer Hall. People were having some tasty Indian sweet made of flour, sugar and butter. Finally we had some lolly pops and said a big thank you to everyone. Happily we got on the bus back to school. We were very happy and excited because we learnt so much about Sikhism!
