On Thursday 13th September, Year 2 went onto the field to make houses out of mud, wood and other natural materials. We talked about how houses in Stuart England were made out of similar materials, which was at the time of the Great Fire of London.
After assembling our own street, we sprayed red paint on the houses to show how the fire spread!
To extinguish the fire, we had to collaborate to pass buckets of water along a line to throw on the fire.
It was an exciting way to start our new theme and we all had an amazing time.
