On Thursday 4th October, Year 4 travelled to Wroxeter to experience walking in Roman footsteps from 2000 years ago. We imagined we were Roman citizens of the city of Viriconium. We explored a Roman Villa and took part in exercises in what would have been the gymnasium before finding out about how the Romans kept clean in the public baths. We found out that the Romans invented central heating which was known as hypocaust. We all enjoyed the day, the sun and the beautiful country side views.
