In our Science lesson we learnt all about the process of digestion. Lillie and Lois helped Miss Bedesha crush a cracker and a banana into small pieces before mushing with ‘saliva’ (water). The contents were transferred to the ‘stomach’ and acid in the form of squash was added! To represent the small intestine we used tights to squeeze the nutrients into the body. Everything we cannot digest is solidified and we used a paper cup for the large intestine. The contents have been left to solidify overnight. We will see what happens next tomorrow!
