Emerald class learnt some Spanish this morning. We played a game of number splat to help us remember numbers from 1-10 before trying churros. Everyone tried them but not all children enjoyed the fried, sweet delicacies! After play we heard a beautiful Spanish fable called ‘The Seagull and the Whale’ and recounted this using a storyboard.
