Salvete! On European Languages Day, Sky Class took a step back in time to find out what it would be like to speak in Roman times to link to our theme this term. We learnt that Latin was the language of Ancient Rome and its empire and we practised greeting each other and asking how we were. We also learnt that a lot of our English words derive from Latin words.
