Today, Year 4 had the privilege of being visited by some Canal and River Trust volunteers. The children had the opportunity to show off their impressive vocabulary as well as learning lots of new facts.
We learnt all about the history of canals, including how they were made and canals near us. We made links to our prior learning. Most excitingly, we made our own model of a canal. The children all took roles in acting out scenarios. It was a lot of fun!
