Hello Year 3!
We hope you have had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the sunshine, we are missing you all very much.
For this week we would like you to have a go at the following writing task:
We also would like you to go on an alphabet scavenger hunt. Have a search around your home and find an item that begins with each letter of the alphabet. Draw a picture and label the item for each letter A-Z. You could also have a look outside. Let us know what you find!
Please also remember to practise your number clubs. You could ask someone to test how many you can do in 5 minutes. You can find these along with KIRFs on the Curriculum Tab – Clubs and Other Maths Resources.
Don’t forget to use Active Learn and Purple Mash and to check out previous blog posts for a variety of resources.
Any queries, or if you would like to share what you have been learning, you can leave a comment on this post.
Keep safe everyone.

How strange, that’s exactly what Jack has been doing this morning – alphabet and handwriting lesson. Then he had to put sentences together about his favourite superheroes, making sure his handwriting was neat, with good finger spacing between words and good grammar.
Today I’ve been practising my handwriting. I wrote each letter of the alphabet – capital and lowercase and then I wrote sentences about my favourite superheroes making sure I kept perfect finger spaces between words and correct grammar.
I also got 10/10 on my spelling test last Friday!!!! I got £5 reward!
