Good morning year 2, our new term begins with a glorious day doesn’t it?
This week, we thought we could be Historians! A historian is someone who studies history,so this week we would like you to read and learn all about an event, or a person from history and share your learning with us. It could be a poster, or if you are very creative, you could use your computer to create a PowerPoint presentation for your family.
If I was doing this (Mrs Taylor) I would find out about King Henry VIII and his 6 wives- this is my FAVOURITE time in history! You could find out about any of the Kings and Queens of Britain. Or how about discovering about the history of your favourite football team? The options are endless!
We have also found two new links for you to online activities. The BBC link is to more games like Karate Cats- there’s even a maths version!

Audible are offering FREE online books for children to listen to whilst schools are closed- check it out!

Have fun!
Love, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Houghton

I chose Isaac Newton because I am quite interested in gravity. I enjoyed making a poster, we learnt about him on a uTube film about his life & in a history book. We’ve emailed it to you. Hope you like it.
