Hello Marmalade Minions!
Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend!
As you all know, our class reader at the moment is Megaboy! Thanks to the children who completed last week’s task and sent them in via the school’s home learning email: email@example.com.
I enjoyed reading the lovely character descriptions with a wide range of adjectives (describing words).
This week, we would be looking at creating our own characters (following the pattern of the story) which would build up to writing our own version of the story next week.
I would like you to:
- Create your own Super hero- think about their appearance and costume- capes, eye masks, gloves etc. What special powers do they have? Where do they live?
- Create your side kick/ pet/ assistant (your own version of Megadog). It could be a cat, dinosaur or a pony!
- Finally, create your own super villain! (Do you know who a villain is? You can research this with your adult) The catch here is use ‘alliteration’ for his name! Alliteration is when you use the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words. For example, Dastardly Dad (both words begin with the letter D) but you may want to use Super Sly Sister or Curious Cousin. I can’t wait to see how creative you get.
I am looking forward to seeing the creative pictures and names for the all characters you create.
