Ramadan is a very important and special time for Muslims. It is the month of fasting when they give up eating and drinking during the day. It is also a time when Muslims pray and think of those less fortunate than themselves. Can you create a piece of work to show what you are grateful for. You could paint, draw, write or record what you would like to share. I am looking forward to seeing what you have come up with. If you are celebrating Ramadan please share with us the special things you do during your day.

Brilliant work Logan! I loved reading about all the things that you are grateful for.
Raees and Isaam have been celebrating Ramadan with mummy and papa. We helped mummy decorate the house. We are still too young to fast but we love joining our parents when they break their fast in the evening.

What lovely pieces of work from Tommy and Harry. I will be awarding Tommy a point on class charts. I can see he has thought carefully about what he is grateful for.
Tommy also has a little brother Harry in preschool due to start reception at Perryfields in September. Here are his pictures of what he is thankful for.
Aleena has been celebrating this holy month with us she is also too young to fast but we have been teaching her the importance of the month. On a daily basis we put some money into a box at the end of the month we will give what we have collected to Charity.
This is a lovely way of sharing what we have with others and celebrating the holy month. Well done Aleena for learning Arabic, I am impressed!
