Hello Year 4
We hope you are all staying well, safe and happy. Have a look at the embedded document (below) for the activities Mrs Addis, Mr Harris and I have set you this week. Remember these are in addition to the work set on ActiveLearn, Purple Mash, TT Rock Stars, Sumdog etc
In addition, we thought it might be fun for you send us some unusual or funny photos. Maybe your pet has been helping you do your work or you’ve read a book in a strange place. You could show us where you’ve been doing your work. Is it a normal desk or table or is it inside a den behind the sofa?! I have also set some Geography activities on Purple Mash.
A NOTE FOR PARENTS – As a parent, I understand that all of the activities and ideas being set and suggested can be quite overwhelming. As teachers, we want to give the children a variety of things to do. This does not mean they all have to be done. Maths, reading and writing will always be the priority. The other activities are planned in order to facilitate these skills but in a more independent and creative way. Please pick and choose from the additional tasks.

I can’t get on to timetable rockstar’s or Sumdog .
Hi Ebony,
I have just checked Times Tables Rockstars and your login works – username is your purple mash username and the password is ‘rock’. You may have to type in the school name first.
Let me know how you get on.

Hi Antoine, I’m afraid I can’t open your file. Could you possibly save it as a Microsoft office or pdf file and resend it?
Hi, I wanted to print out the maths for next week from Whiterose maths, Antoine has been doing it everyday, but now it says to contact the school to check if they have a subscription to the worksheets. We have CGP books as well but really found the format of the video and worksheets worked really well for us. So please say you have a subscription 🙂 /Sandra
