It is half term!
Hello Magnificent Marmalade Minions! Well done for all your hard work over the last five weeks. It has been a wonderful term with you and I am very pleased that you are having fun, acquiring new skills and engaging in your learning through a variety of ways be it via our on line platforms or otherwise.
A big thank you to all the mums and dads as well. Minions, let’s give them a cheer and a marshmallow clap! You are all superheroes for navigating these times bravely.
One of our topics for science this term is ‘materials‘.
Over this half term, you have only one mission! Your special assignment is to investigate materials. First, you must understand what ‘materials’ are. Click on the link to view the PowerPoint. Note, this PowerPoint will self destruct in 10 seconds!
Now that you know what materials are, you must commence your special mission:
Have a look around the house. What objects can you find? Draw the object, name and label it. Then, write what material or materials it is made out of. Remember, handle these objects with care as you observe them.
Have a lovely bank holiday and half term week with your families. I hope the sun shines.
We miss you all and hope to see you soon.
