We understand not all children have access to online learning at home. We currently have a list of six pupils that can pick up paper copies of the learning from Monday, at school. Can you telephone the office to arrange a safe time for this. If you would like to be added to this list: please get in touch!

Good evening,
Should there be a story to read about the wolf? I can see questions but no hyperlink to a text?
Hello,
Thanks for being in touch.
The English learning is based solely around the image of the wolf this week.
hi there its Ava here,
I just wanted to know where our spellings are ? I have done all the work but have no spelling or I can’t find the link
Ava has found the spellings
Thanks for letting us know!
Mr Billings.
Hi Ava,
We are focussing on year 5 and 6 statutory words this week. We are asking children just to choose 3 each day from the list below, to practice. (Look, Cover, Write and Check).

My mum & dad have emailed my English and PSHE to you. I really enjoy writing about the wolf and I

Where is the writing for todays work.
Morning Pearl!
Just like at school – our writing would develop over the week to a ‘big write’. The work from this week is below. If you find any of the skills tricky to use, of you need any help with anything, feel free to get in touch!
1) Investigate vocabulary to describe the setting and the wolf. Create a mind map of brilliant words and phrases.
2) Write a description of what is happening. Try to include:
· Interesting adjectives use those from your mindmap.
· Expanded noun phrases (his wide staring eyes)
· Similes (he slid along the branch like a worm, his heart thumped like a bird trying to escape)
· Direct speech/thoughts Remember to use “ ” and precise verbs.
· Questions: Have you ever seen such a bizarre sight? Would you be scared of the Wolf?

Hi Pearl,
I have seen your great descriptions about the wolf. For the writing for the rest of this week, we are now going to build those ideas into a description.
See the intructions below:

Hi Mr Billings. Hope you’re well.
I have done my Maths & English and will do Science tomorrow.
I hope you liked my favourite title. I combined my 2 favourites + I am using a thesaurus on my computer and then double checking the meaning in a dictionary for better vocabulary. For example, I typed up ‘forest’ and my favourite one was ‘woodland. – English.
Hope you liked it.

Go on multiplayer and then onto Rockslam. From there, you can send a challenge.
If you go on festival or arena you can play live but you will both need a device for this.
Hi. As always my mum & brother have
emailed my English to you. I drew a dragon eye too
for Art. (-although it’s normally on Fridays.)
I promise that I had no help whatsoever !!
I kept looking at a picture of a dragon eye
on the internet and copied it. I’m not bragging, but

COMMUNITTY CARE SHIELD ZOYA SCHOOL WORK
Hi Mr Billings !
My mum, dad and brother have scanned and emailed my
work to you. The Maths, well some parts were hard but most easy.
There is 1 question though that I did not understand at all. 😑😯🤔
So my brother worked it out and taught me through it so I get it now.
It was the, ‘Hassan buys 1 notebook and 1 pen. Kate buys 2 pens and
1 notebook.’ My brother also helped me with English a tiny bit. He drew the trees.
Bye. 😁
💐 Manha 💐
