Good morning Mulberry and Heather Class,
We hope you are well and are keeping up with your home learning tasks. Thank you and well done to those children who have used the class emails to send their work to either Miss Clulow or myself.
Today in English we will be continuing with our learning about writing and punctuating direct speech. In maths, you will continuing with addition using a formal method. Scroll down the PDFs (blue document) and find today’s date. Work through each of the different tasks. You will need to have paper and pencils/pens to hand so you can complete the tasks. Answers to the tasks are on the following pages. Do not be tempted to jump to these pages. Have a go and then check. If you have errors, go back and have another go just like we would in class.
Underneath the English PDF, you will find the green link to the English task. Please complete. You can download the Word document and work on it electronically or you can use it as a worksheet and work from it copying the sentences onto another piece of paper. This is what we would have done in class. You don’t need to print it. Your maths task is set on mymaths. Underneath the maths PDF, you will find today’s reading activity. The answers are underneath each set of questions so you can check how you did. Please don’t peek!
Tasks that need to be completed by the end of the week, are the same as yesterday (Theme and spelling). If you have completed those tasks already, check out Purple Mash and Active Learn for further activities. Have you read any of the short stories and poems from ‘The Book of Hopes’?
