Good morning Mulberry and Heather Class,
We hope you are working hard and are keeping up with your daily lessons. If you have any questions or you want to send Miss Clulow or myself your work, please use the email addresses below.
Today in English we will learning how to write, punctuate and set out a conversation between characters using inverted commas. Scroll through the blue PDF until you get to Thursday’s lesson (p.20 ). You will need to have paper and pencils/pens to hand so you can complete the different tasks. Underneath the English blue PDF, you will find three green links to the English chilli challenge tasks. You all know how to choose a chilli challenge so choose wisely. Remember you don’t need to complete all three! You can download the Word document and work on it electronically or you can write your conversation on a separate piece of paper.Yr 6 English direct speech daily lessons
In maths, we will be learning how to subtract using a formal method. Scroll down the PDF (blue document) and find Thursday’s date. Your maths tasks are on the slides so you need to work through them answering the questions on a separate piece of paper. You can check your answers as you go. Underneath the maths PDF, you will find your group’s worksheets. They are PDFs so you will not be able to write on them. You can print them out and write on them or write the answers on a separate piece of paper. The answers are on the sheets as well.Thursday , Friday maths slides

Tasks that need to be completed by the end of the week are the same as yesterday (Theme and spelling). So look at Wednesday’s blog. If you have completed those tasks already, check out Purple Mash and Active Learn for further activities.
For those who want to practise their tables, login to https://ttrockstars.com/. Alternatively, you can download copies of your tables clubs from the school website. Go to the home page and open the curriculum tab. There you will find all the time table clubs.
Stay safe, be good and work hard.
