In PSHE today we learnt all about the importance of the poppy in Remembrance day. We watched a short CBeebies animation, discussed what it would’ve been like to be in a war and why it is important to remember and listened to Nimrod by Edward Elgar. We then coloured poppies and created our own remembrance area in our playground. When we placed our poppies we remembered loved ones and our pets.
