This week, Year 2 have been searching in the Year 1 garden for mini-beasts as part of our Living Things Science topic.
We talked about how microhabitats are smaller habitats such as under a log or in the mud. It has been very wet and we had high hopes of finding MANY mini-beasts.
We found a slug and some snails, but sadly we didn’t see any woodlice or beetles. Mrs Taylor and Mrs Houghton were incredibly relieved that we did not find any spiders!
