Good Morning Year 2!
We hope you had a lovely weekend after all your hard work last week.
Today in Maths we are going to start looking at pictograms where the key is different. This means that each symbol could represent 2 or 5 or 10 items. The online lesson is at 10am this morning and the PowerPoint is here.
There are three pages of worksheets below for you to have a go at. You should be able to download the document and type your answers in the boxes to save you printing the sheets – otherwise, just write down the answers on paper. Remember to look carefully at the key before answering the questions!
In English today, we would like to practise your spelling of some common homophones. Remember, homophones are words which sound the same, but have different spellings and meanings – like ‘here’ and ‘hear’. You can choose your Chilli Challenge – mild, hot or fiery! Online lesson at 11am!
Mrs Stafford has also sent some Music activities for you to complete.
We look forward to seeing your fantastic work when you email it in!
Have a lovely Monday.
From Mrs Houghton and Mrs Taylor
