Hello to all of our Brilliant Buttercups and Super Sunflowers!
We really enjoyed all of our learning yesterday and can see from the work you have sent us that you did too. Thank you ALL for working so very hard, two more days then we all get a well deserved break.
We will be having an extra Teams chat today so we can catch up with our friends and we can deliver praise awards to children who are working from home. It will be at 10:30am and Mrs Houghton will remind you about it after Maths.
This is your Maths learning to complete after the lesson with Mrs Houghton:
After a fabulous English lesson identifying imperative verbs, this is your task for today. You will need to use your word mats to help you select effective vocabulary.
Today in School we have been thinking about Safer Internet Day. Last week we asked you to look at different ways to stay safe online. This week, we have included a link to the Detective Digi-Duck Story which discusses how we can’t always believe what we read online. There are activities for you to have a go at with your adult at home or you can simply read the story and think about how we have to make sure we really think carefully about the information we read when using the internet.
Have a tremendous Thursday Year 2 and we will see you all on Friday. We are having a non-uniform day and are wearing something red to celebrate Chinese New Year. Why don’t you join in at home?
