Hello Year 2,
Half way through another week and not much longer until we can all be together again! We hope you have enjoyed the creative tasks we have set for you this week so far and are ready for another busy day of learning. You are doing so well and we are very proud of each and every one of you.
In Maths today, Mrs Houghton has asked that you can make sure you have your Maths equipment ready to use for division again. Your task will be a practical one, so get ready to make full use of your Mathematical vocabulary.
Today’s English is the first lesson in creating your own recipe, so we will be drafting. You can pick your level of chilli-challenge, but remember that today is a chance to draft before making improvements and editing it tomorrow. You have been given the basic recipe and have to think about what you would like to add to make it your own unique bake!
Your afternoon lesson is PSHE. We have attached a PowerPoint for you to read through to help you learn and understand the task. We are thinking about how to keep ourselves healthy and how we sometimes find it difficult to be motivated. Poor Jigsaw Joe knows how to keep himself healthy, but doesn’t feel like doing the right things to stay healthy. Can you help him? We would like you to think of a way to motivate Jigsaw Joe to eat a balanced and healthy diet. How you record your learning is up to you.
Have a wonderful day, we look forward to seeing all of your amazing efforts.
REMEMBER to carry on reading at home, it is so important that you continue to develop your reading skills as they help you in all areas of your learning.
Mrs Taylor and Mrs Houghton.
