Happy Thursday Year 2!
What a busy week we are all having, we hope you are all ok and finding a bit of time to do the things you enjoy.
Yesterday in Maths, you already practised grouping practically so today Mrs Houghton would like you to apply your learning to challenges. The practice questions will allow you to draw the groups to make you feel more confident in attempting another challenge.
We drafted a recipe yesterday in English and today we are thinking about how to improve that recipe. You can use the sheet from yesterday to edit and then think about a unique way to present your recipe. Could you write it by hand and show us your neat and accurate handwriting? How about using a computer to develop your typing skills? There is not a template for this lesson as Mrs Taylor wants to see you use your BLP imagining and absorption muscles to create a masterpiece!
Thursday is Computing and linked to the English we would like you to keep on with your touch typing skills. This will help you become a more confident user of technology and is a great skill to have for when you are an adult!
Try this game and see how far you can get! There is also Purple Mash aimed at touch typing too.
Thank you ALL, both children and adults, for everything you are doing at home.
