Good morning Year 2 and Happy Friday!
Well done for all your hard work this week. We are so proud of you and we can’t wait until you are all back in school!
For Maths today, we will be using a number line to divide by two. Our two times table will help us with this!
Here are some Problem solving and reasoning questions too for those of you who would like to try them.
In English today, Mrs Taylor will be teaching an online handwriting lesson and she would like you to copy out this poem using your best handwriting. Don’t forget your ascenders and descenders as well as sitting all your letters on the line.
Friday is Science day and this week we are starting a new topic all about plants. In school, we will be thinking about plants which grow outside.
We will be searching for all the different plants that can be found growing in our school grounds, and then showing them on a map. Here is a plant hunt worksheet which you could use in your garden or in the park. Can you spot any of these plants?
If you don’t have a garden or a park nearby, you could create a poster to show all of the different plants you know about.
Have a lovely weekend!
Love from Mrs Houghton and Mrs Taylor
