We hope all of our Super Sunflowers and Brilliant Buttercups have enjoyed World Book Day at home. In school, all of our learning has been based around books and reading today.
We read Oi Frog and then we wrote our own versions of the rhyming story, following the pattern in the book. Later, we used our drawing skills to create images of Frog and Mouse from the book.
In the afternoon, we completed our guesses and votes for The Masked Reader competition before the big reveal at 2.30pm!
We also listened to a story called ‘The Doorbell Rang’ which is all about sharing. We worked in pairs to share out 12 cookies between different amounts of people and investigated how many each person would receive and how many would be left over.
Of course, we finished the day with story time too! What a great day – we hope you all enjoyed it too!
