Welcome to the start of a brand new week!
We are looking forward to another week full of learning and creativity here in school and are sure you are too if you’re at home and are feeling O.K.
English today is using persuasive sentence starters to get us ready for our independent writing on Thursday. Can you write sentences using our Writing Mat that would persuade your teachers or your adult at home to let you do something you really want to do? Persuasive-Sentence-Starters
Maths is the start of a new unit of learning, fractions. Today we are learning about unit fractions which are fractions such as 1/3 or 1/4 (a unit fraction is one part of that whole) Work through the lesson below and have a go at the activities.
Theme is learning about human features of New York City- can you use your BLP sill of making links to think about WHY we might be looking at New York? Please can you complete our research about the Statue of Liberty- you could even then make a poster advertising this incredible tourist attraction.
We hope you enjoy your learning today as much as we will in school.
