In the week before half term, Year 4 visited Brandhall library to meet a real life author! Paul Dowswell told us all about becoming a writer and read some of his work to us. Paul writes historical fiction and we learned what it was like to be a young boy on a ship during the time of Lord Nelson. We have been writing our own historical stories based on the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii.
