On Tuesday we went to the Roman city at Wroxeter in Shropshire. It was the best trip ever and we were amazed by how the Romans lived. Their buildings (even though now in ruins) were very skilled and impressive. The one wall today is 7m high, although it used to be 14m high in Roman times. The details and patterns were still visible many years on. We had a great social lunchtime and enjoyed making purchases in the shop. The weather was amazing for us. We would recommend you visiting to see for yourselves.
