Today, we investigated different ways of sorting 3-D shapes into groups. On our tables, we had a selection of 3-D shapes and we worked together to decide how to sort them. We sorted them into two groups or three groups, thinking about size, colour, the number of sides, straight or curved sides or the number of vertices.
We also found that some shapes might fit under more than one heading.
