It has been a lovely start to the school year in Marmalade. The children have settled in and are displaying a very positive attitude towards school. Our first week was all about getting to know the children; sharing our expectations with them and it has been a delight to see them uphold our school values. As earlier stated, we would have PE on Thursdays and Fridays. Please ensure that your child’s P.E items and school uniform are clearly labelled. We would also be changing our reading books at least once every week. Please ensure you read with your child regularly and sign the reading record. If you have any query, do not hesitate to speak to me (Mrs O) or any other member of staff at the door.
It has been an amazing first few weeks and my highlight has been seeing the children excited about learning and making remarks such as:
“I love school. This is the best school ever!“
