This week in Reception, we have been exploring lots of different areas of our classrooms and different activities that have been available to try! The water tray has been particularly popular, as well as the magnetic letters. The children have worked really hard to respect their resources and are working collaboratively during tidy up time.

We have been looking at the details and engraving of Anglo-Saxon Swords. We then designed our own and created them in clay. We were very impressed with our efforts and results.
Today we have had Louise from Sandwell Road Safety Education Team visit. She has delivered assemblies to KS1 and Year 4 & 5. Then class workshops with Year 3 and 6. The children learnt all about crossing safely, car safety and a catchy little song for a reminder....
