Year 3/4 Phase Leader
I am thrilled to be part of the team at Perryfields Primary School. I am as a Year 3 class teacher, having mostly taught Year 3 and 4 before (although I have trained in Years 5 and 6). This will be my seventh year of teaching! I am the phase leader for Lower Key Stage Two, as well as subject lead for ICT and the Science of Learning. My aim in teaching is to help every child achieve their full potential and be the best that they can be.

Year 5/6 Phase Leader
I joined Perryfields in September 2020, and I am currently the Sapphire class teacher in Year Five. I am currently the English lead, with responsibility for reading and writing across the curriculum. I have taught for over fourteen years in both Key Stage One and Two. I have seven years experience of school leadership and governance as well as co-ordinating a range of subjects across the curriculum.I believe the best educational experiences are when children are provided with bespoke opportunities that match their starting points and learning styles.

Year 1/2 Phase Leader
I joined Perryfields in April 2016, with 17 years of teaching experience behind me. Having previously taught in Years 3, 4 and 5, I am currently a class teacher in Year 2. I have responsibility for jointly planning and delivering the Year 2 National Curriculum, as well as assessing pupil progress towards curriculum objectives at the end of Key Stage 1. In addition to my class teacher role, I am part of the School Leadership Team with a responsibility for leading Mathematics across the whole school - from EYFS to Year 6. This involves developing our whole school maths curriculum and assessment materials, delivering staff training, purchasing resources for staff and pupil use and monitoring teaching, learning, progress and attainment within the subject. I am passionate about developing the whole child and I aim to provide engaging educational opportunities for the children I teach, whilst also allowing them to grow in confidence and as individuals.

I have been Head Teacher at Perryfields Primary for the last 13 years. Before that I was a Deputy Head at a primary school in Dudley. During that time the school has been extended and refurbished so that we can take more pupils. Currently we have 403 pupils and 66 staff. When I first started we had 210 pupils and 25 staff. Its been quite a journey! Without doubt we have a great staff team and pupils!

I’m new to the Perryfields team having started in September 2020. My role as Business Manager covers a range of areas across the whole school including Finance, HR and Health & Safety whilst also being a member of the schools senior leadership team. The role is very diverse and allows me to be involved with many aspects of school life.

EYFS Phase Leader
I am currently the teacher of Coral class . I am also the Phase Leader for EYFS which involves overseeing the teaching and learning across the Early Years.I co-ordinate Phonics across EYFS and Key Stage 1, as well as overseeing Emotion Coaching through the whole school.I have recently been appointed as a Specialist Leader in Education, which will allow me to share my expertise in EYFS with other schools in the area.The best part of my job however, is helping our wonderful children make a super start to their time at Perryfields.

I am the Deputy Head Teacher at Perryfields Primary School. Having joined this amazing team in April 2018, I strive to help both pupils and staff reach their full potential. I bring with me over a decade of teaching and leadership experience which includes: teaching Year 2 and Year 6, Phase Leader, Key Stage 2 Co-ordinator, Assistant Head and Deputy Head. I am a passionate advocate in the development of young people, this drive was my inspiration for entering the world of education. My philosophy in education is simple ‘Every Child Matters’.
