I am TLR for English across the whole school, ensuring the National Curriculum is adhered to across all year groups and deliver training when required. I am currently Year 6 class Teacher and Transition link for Year 7 at their secondary schools. As Educational Visits Coordinator, I approve all Educational visits and check all risk assessments.

I am currently a class teacher in Year 3, with responsibility for planning and delivering the Year 3 National Curriculum, as well as assessing pupil progress towards curriculum objectives. In addition to my class teacher role, I am part of the School Leadership Team with a responsibility for leading Mathematics across the whole school - from EYFS to Year 6. This involves developing our whole school maths curriculum, delivering staff training, purchasing resources for staff and pupil use and monitoring teaching, learning, progress and attainment within the subject.

I have been Head Teacher at Perryfields Primary for the last 10 years. Before that I was a Deputy Head at a primary school in Dudley. During that time the school has been extended and refurbished so that we can take more pupils. Currently we have 363 pupils and 57 staff. When I first started we had 210 pupils and 25 staff. Its been quite a journey! Without doubt we have a great staff team and pupils!

I am currently the teacher of Ruby class in Reception. I am also the Phase Leader for EYFS which involves overseeing the teaching and learning across the Early Years.I co-ordinate Phonics across EYFS and Key Stage 1, as well as overseeing Emotion Coaching through the whole school.I have recently been appointed as a Specialist Leader in Education, which will allow me to share my expertise in EYFS with other schools in the area.The best part of my job however, is helping our wonderful children make a super start to their time at Perryfields.

I am the Deputy Head Teacher at Perryfields Primary School. Having recently joined this amazing team I strive to help both pupils and staff reach their full potential. I bring with me over a decade of teaching and leadership experience which includes: teaching Year 2 and Year 6, Phase Leader, Key Stage 2 Co-ordinator, Assistant Head and Deputy Head. I am a passionate advocate in the development of young people, this drive was my inspiration for entering the world of education. My philosophy in education is simple ‘Every Child Matters’.

I am currently a Year 4 class teacher with experience in Key Stage 1. This means that I work alongside another year 4 class teacher to plan, teach and assess pupils within the National Curriculum.In addition to my main role, I qualified as a Key Stage 1 moderator for Sandwell in 2017 and I am in charge of D&T provision for both Key Stages. Another role I carry out is on the Governing Body and this enables me to broaden my knowledge and understanding of school policies and strategies.

I am delighted to join Perryfields Primary School as Inclusion Manager. I have been a SENCO and Safeguarding Lead in mainstream schools for most of my career, driven by a passion to support children and families who, at times, face barriers to learning and life. As well as a Masters in Education, National SENCO Award and a qualification in Autism, I am completing a second Masters qualification in Social, Emotional and Mental Health. My belief is that we should embrace individuality, and be grateful for it.
