I joined Perryfields in September 2020, and I am currently the Heather class teacher in Year Six. I am currently the English lead, with responsibility for reading, writing and phonics across the curriculum. I have taught for over fourteen years in both Key Stage One and Two. I have seven years experience of school leadership and governance as well as co-ordinating a range of subjects across the curriculum. I believe the best educational experiences are when children are provided with bespoke opportunities that match their starting points and learning styles.

I joined the Perryfields staff in 2016. I am now a Year 2 teacher with responsibility for leading KS1. During my time at Perryfields, I have also taught in lower and upper KS2. As P.E lead, I help to provide the opportunities for pupils to learn and develop skills across the curriculum. I believe that being physically active enables helps pupils to develop both their mental and physical health. Therefore, I ensure that children have a range of opportunities for being active including break times, lunchtimes, weekly mile, P.E lessons, outdoor learning, swimming and after school clubs.As computing lead, I help to ensure that children have the opportunity to learn about technology providing them with the skills and experience necessary as they grow up in a world full of every advancing technology.

I have been a teacher for 24 years and have taught at Perryfields since April 2016. Having previously taught in all key stages, I am currently a class teacher in Year 4. I have responsibility for jointly planning and delivering the Year 4 National Curriculum, as well as assessing pupil progress towards curriculum objectives at the end of Lower Key Stage 2. In addition to my class teacher role, I am a member of the School Leadership Team with a responsibility for leading Mathematics across the whole school - from EYFS to Year 6. This involves developing our whole school maths curriculum and assessment materials, delivering staff training, purchasing resources for staff and pupil use and monitoring teaching, learning, progress and attainment within the subject. I am also the Phase Leader for Lower Key Stage 2, as well as leading on Behaviour and Culture within school. I am passionate about developing the whole child and I aim to provide engaging educational opportunities for the children I teach, whilst also allowing them to grow in confidence and as individuals. I believe that with patience, nurture and social education, we can help to prepare our pupils for a happy and successful future beyond primary school.

As Inclusion Manger I support in the identification of children with special educational needs, I co-ordinate provision for those children by liaising with parents and other providers and I make sure that school keeps up to date records of all pupils with additional needs. I have 17 years’ worth of teaching experience across EYFS and KS1 and I have 15 years’ experience of school leadership with specialism in EYFS and SEND. I am a really passionate advocate that all children regardless of starting point and level of need makes progress. I strive to make sure that this happens for all children that attend Perryfields.

I have been Head Teacher at Perryfields since 2008 and have had the pleasure of seeing our school grow and develop from a one class primary school to a two class. As a dedicated team of staff, we aim to provide all children with the best possible start to their learning journey, with support from the parents/carers to make it as successful as possible.

I’m new to the Perryfields team having started in September 2020. My role as Business Manager covers a range of areas across the whole school including Finance, HR and Health & Safety whilst also being a member of the schools senior leadership team. The role is very diverse and allows me to be involved with many aspects of school life.

I am the Deputy Head Teacher at Perryfields Primary School. Having joined this amazing team in April 2018, I strive to help both pupils and staff reach their full potential. I bring with me over a decade of teaching and leadership experience which includes: teaching Year 2 and Year 6, Phase Leader, Key Stage 2 Co-ordinator, Assistant Head and Deputy Head. My name is Mrs Raffaela Bates. I joined Perryfields Primary School as a part time teacher in 2003. I currently teach Year 6 and have done since 2012. As part of my role as a Year 6 teacher, I take an active role in our pupils’ smooth transition to secondary school. I am passionate about teaching our pupils how to become effective and confident communicators and improving their life opportunities. In 2020, I embarked on a two year training course with Voice21 (an educational charity) to develop my knowledge and understanding of improving our pupils’ communication skills. I joined the Perryfield's family in 2016 as a teaching assistant in Year 5 whilst completing my joint honours undergraduate degree in ‘Working with children, Young People & Families’ and ‘Education Studies’. I then completed my PGCE teacher training in 2017 situated in Year 4 and became a qualified teacher based in Year 6 from 2018-2022. I can now be found in reception with some of our youngest members of Perryfields! Part of my role includes the development of the teaching and learning of Design & Technology within our school. I strive to create a safe, creative and exciting learning environment. I have been teaching at Perryfields since 2010. I am currently a class teacher in Year 3 Emerald Class having previously had classes in years 4, 2 and 1. I really enjoy providing an engaging and rich curriculum for the children I teach. I am responsible for the teaching of geography throughout the school and have enhanced the geography curriculum by installing an orienteering course around the school grounds. I joined the Perryfields Teaching Staff in the Summer Term of 2022. I am currently teaching in Upper Key Stage two in Year 5. I have had experience teaching in Year 3 at my previous school. My University Specialist Subject was SEND. Therefore, I am passionate about ensuring that all pupils feel welcome, happy and reach their best potential, overcoming any barriers they may face. I strive to create a learning environment that is safe to take risks, become independent, make mistakes and allows all to be themselves.

I am currently a class teacher in Year 2. I have experience working across the Key Stages, in Years 1, 3 and 5, and joined Perryfields as an NQT in September 2018. I am passionate about teaching all subjects, with a particular liking for mathematics. I also strive to encourage and develop each child to achieve their best and reach their full potential.

My name is Dhara Kenth. I have been teaching at Perryfields since January 2017. I am a part time teacher and work on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I currently teach in Reception with some of our youngest children. Being PSHE lead, I am passionate about children receiving a good understanding of their self-worth and value in the school community and society. Through the role of PSHE lead I aim to develop knowledge, skills and qualities our pupils need to keep themselves happy, healthy and safe and be prepared for life in our modern day Britain. I am also a trained Mental Health First aider. This role allows me to be a point of contact for staff or children who are experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress. The interaction could range from having an initial conversation through to getting the appropriate help. I am also a full time class teacher and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a broad, balanced and engaged National Curriculum to allow all children, regardless of ability, to achieve their full potential.

I have worked at Perryfields since 2015. I am a part time teacher and work in Emerald Class in Year 3 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays job sharing with Mrs Haydon. I am also the History Co-ordinator and part of my role involves monitoring the planning and work produced by the children in History across the whole school.

I have been teaching at Perryfields since 2015. I am a Year One teacher and Art lead. At Perryfields, I ensure children have an exciting and enriching Art curriculum which enables them to develop skills they can use in different areas of their learning. I first joined Perryfields Primary School in September 2019 as a member of the Learning Support Team, where I worked across Year Two. In January of this year, I was given the fantastic opportunity to complete my teaching qualification so joined the EYFS team to do this. As my role as Family Link Worker I play an important part in the relationship between home and school in supporting families on a wide variety of issues. I work closely with all the class teachers, colleagues and outside agencies to help others to understand children’s needs as well as those of parents/carers. I also initiate specific support for supporting children’s emotional and mental health concerns, allowing them to develop strategies to enable them to cope with school life and achieve their potential. In addition to this role I am also a HLTA which means I cover classes so their teachers can have time out of class to plan and assess, I support children’s learning and assist in enabling all children to reach their potential.

I have worked as 1:1 support in Years 1 & 2 and for the last two years have supported teaching and learning across Years 5 & 6. I help children to achieve in their learning through supporting small groups or working 1:1 to achieve their individual targets. I have worked at Perryfields Primary School for 2 years. My main duties include washing up, serving sandwiches and desserts on a rota basis and cleaning the hall after service. I adhere to all basic food hygiene practices and health and safety procedures.

My name is Gurbinder Kaur and I am a catering assistant. My main duties include, kitchen cleaning, service to the children, food preparation in accordance to food hygiene regulations, checking children’s card for allergies and dietary requirements.

Hi my name is Tina. I have worked at Perryfields Primary school for the last 17 years. My main duties are providing a healthy nutritional meal for all the children. I cater for any special dietary requirements. My other duties include planning the meals where I take into account likes, dislikes and allergies. Ordering the ingredients, stock rotation, update paperwork and invoices and liaise with school council for themed days to produce a fun and exciting menu. I train all new members of staff who join our team. I regularly monitor equipment and report faults to the relevant departments. I identify any training requirements for my staff and source courses appropriately.

I have been working at Perryfields Primary since 2012. In my role as Cleaning Supervisor I am responsible for 2 other cleaners. I also work alongside our Site Manager, Mr Roseblade to ensure that all cleaning is to a consistently high standard.

I have worked at Perryfields Primary since August 2015 as a Cleaner. I work as part of a team to keep classrooms and communal areas clean and tidy.

I have been working as Site Manager at Perryfields Primary School since January 2012 and I have found it to be a very enjoyable and rewarding place to work. I have many years’ experience in the building trade, I.T. and engineering which I have brought as valuable skills into this role. My responsibilities include the day to day running and smooth operation of the school and grounds, ensuring the safety and security of the pupils, staff and visitors.I have many other responsibilities, including Health & Safety, Fire Safety, liaising with Sandwell LA and contractors amongst many others! My role also involves working closely with my cleaning supervisor, Sarah Ashmore to ensure we have a clean, safe environment for our children.

I started at Perryfields Primary as a temporary cleaner in 2016. Then in 2017 my position was made permanent. I work as part of a team cleaning the areas inside the school.

Rachel is responsible for maintaining the high standards that Ofsted require. Rachel is also responsible for ensuring that the waiting lists are updated and places offered to children when they reach the age of 3 or as places become available. Rachel is our funding person. If you think you are entitled to funding Rachel will help you claim it.When not completing paperwork Rachel enjoys spending time with the children talking about their interests and then fitting these interests into the planning.

Clair helps the children, and their families, who may have Special Educational Needs. This involves working with other professional agencies, staff, the children and their families, all for the benefit of the children. Clair is also a champion of Raising Early Achievement in Literacy, (REAL). Clair has organised training for parents interested in early literacy, every parent on the course has said how useful this was with helping them, to help their children, with early literacy skills. This also involves organising workshops for parents and events for children and their families once every term. We have had amazing feedback from all who attended.

Liz joined the team in September 2020 as a learning support practitioner following two years with us as a student. Liz decided on a career change from veterinary nursing after her daughter attended the pre-school. After developing a passion for child development Liz retrained and in early 2020 graduated from the University of Worcester with a foundation degree in Early Years. Liz loves to encourage the children to learn through play and particularly enjoys supporting their development in mathematics. Liz is artistic and enjoys creating resources for our displays and activities.
