On Tuesday 23rd April, Year One had an amazing day on Attwell Farm in Worcestershire. This was to celebrate our learning about the Farm in Spring in our Theme lessons.
Once we had calmed down from the excitement of our coach ride, we split into two groups. One class went to the Bug Room where we saw creatures such as millipedes, tarantulas and even a poison arrow frog. Mrs Taylor was incredibly brave and had the giant stick insect climb up her jumper. It was incredible to see such an exotic and exciting range on insects all in one place. Whilst Amber class did that, Marmalade went and saw the indoor barn animals which were far cuter and fluffier. They saw baby reindeer, pigmy goats and horses. It was in this room that we got to feed the goats which was a funny thing to see as the goats kept butting each other out of the way for their lunch- the greedy things! After lunch, we even got to play on an old Fire Engine and pretend we were firefighters which was fun with our friends.
It was a wonderful experience to share with the adults who came along and we have been talking about it at school all day long.
