This week in Science, Sky Class have been investigating electrical circuits. We created our own complete circuits using components such as bulbs and motors to check that the circuits were complete. We then altered some components, such as adding an extra cell, to see the effect.
Today , Sky Class joined in with the Children in Need ‘Morning Move’ stream (although we did it in the afternoon!). We wore our own clothes, donating £1 to raise funds for the Children in Need charities.
Our half -term task was to design and create a Roman shield or a Roman helmet. Sky Class did not disappoint! We each presented our design to the whole class, explaining how we made our helmets and shields and what materials we used. There were many inventive creations, each one different to th e next.
Today, Sky Class enjoyed learning Bollywood Dance moves which they put together to create a super dance. All the children were engaged throughout and proved to be very co-ordinated and excellent dancers – well done!
