Year 4 Gymnastics

Electricity Workshop!
This afternoon, Year 4 had an exciting electricity workshop! We made circuits, tested if materials were conductors or insulators, proved that humans can conduct electricity and made circuits using lemons and potatoes!
Fire Brigade
This morning, Year 4 were taught by the fire brigade! We learnt what to do in case of a fire and all about the importance of having smoke detectors in our houses.

Electricity
In Year 4, we’ve been looking at electricity. Today, we were testing complete and incomplete circuits. The children were all very enthusiastic and eager to try the circuits out for themselves.
Assembly
Yesterday afternoon, Year 4 did themselves proud by presenting their learning around anti-bullying to the whole of Key Stage 2. The children impressed us with what they had remembered and shared some really important messages. The most memorable one was STOP. Year 4 highlighted how bullying is something that happens Several Times On Purpose.
Children in Need
Today, Ocean class took part in a workout in support of Children in Need. We dressed in our gym clothes and brought in £1 in support of the charity. At the end of the day, we had a cake sale to raise more money. Yummy! MVI_7732
