Challenge: Can you get your team in order from smallest to shortest on a bench without touching the floor?
This afternoon Seahorse participated in a little bit of gardening. We weeded and then studied the root systems of the different plants. We found sunflower seeds and potatoes. We enjoyed watching the minibeasts in the soil too.
This afternoon we had great fun with water in the sun 🙂
We had great fun running, hopping and jumping. Relay racing and finishing off with domes and dishes.
Today we created a large sunflower using pasta, lentils, chick peas and rice. We collaborated and persevered and look at our magnificent efforts. We are very pleased with ourselves.
Today in RE we learnt about the Hindu festival of Holi. We then went outside and celebrated in our own way!
Today we spent designing, making, testing and evaluating our parachutes. We learnt the purpose of a parachute initially and then discussed what we already knew. Afterwards we looked and tested a range of materials before deciding on our design. After morning break we then made our designs and fixed items together with sellotape, glue or…
After 7 days we are now stretching our wings, developing proper adult feathers and getting taller.
We now have 8 baby chicks.
Good Morning. On this beautiful sunny morning we would like to share our news – we have 4 new born chicks. 🙂 In these photographs you can see the hatching process. The last chick was born at 8:30 this morning.
