Year 5 have been on a trip to the Black Country Museum today. We got to experience a Victorian school lesson as well as what life would have been like for workers in the mines. We were able to learn about Victorian medicine, toys, church, food, shopping and living conditions. Children were able to see how different life would have been in the Victorian times. The weather was fantastic which made exploring the Victorian village all the more enjoyable.
