This afternoon we had great fun with water in the sun 🙂
We had great fun running, hopping and jumping. Relay racing and finishing off with domes and dishes.
Today in RE we learnt about the Hindu festival of Holi. We then went outside and celebrated in our own way!
After 7 days we are now stretching our wings, developing proper adult feathers and getting taller.
We now have 8 baby chicks.
Good Morning. On this beautiful sunny morning we would like to share our news – we have 4 new born chicks. 🙂 In these photographs you can see the hatching process. The last chick was born at 8:30 this morning.
Today we have received our ‘living eggs’ as part of our Science theme. We are hopeful that on Wednesday or Thursday this week will be ‘proud parents’ of some baby chicks. Today we have released our butterflies. We have nurtured them from caterpillars and now they have changed to beautiful butterflies. We were very pleased to see them free on our flowers.
In Year 1 we had a couple of children show an interest in volcanoes. After sharing a non-fiction text with the class we then decided to demonstrate how a volcano works by conducting a mini Science experiment. It was an amazing experience.
