Today in Year 3 we created our large scale Shadufs. A shaduf is an Egyptian farming tool to raise water from the river to irrigate their crops. We had some fantastic collaboration and problem solving throughout the morning.

Well Done Emerald on a superb effort at sports day. We had great team effort and dry weather. Great fun had by all.
Emerald were asked to make a small-scale sarcophagus as a half-term homework task. We have had them created from Lego, clay, boxes and decorated with paint, gems, glitter. The creativity and fine detail has left Mrs Millward astonished. The class are thoroughly enjoying all the elements of our Theme.

Year 3 and 4 children experienced outdoor learning in style last week – staying two nights in glamping pods! Everyone participated with enthusiasm and for many this was their first time away from home. Staff were so impressed with their resilience and positive approach to new challenges.
