For science week we conducted an experiment to make the newt from Matilda move without us touching it. We used balloons to create static electricity to lift up our ‘newts’ that we had created from tissue paper. We had lots of fun making our experiment. We especially found it funny when our hair stood up!
As part of the Geography morning, all classes have been using laptops, iPads and atlases to locate countries, capital cities, landmarks, mountain ranges and rivers around Europe.
Today we have dressed up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day. Everyone in Willow looked amazing and put lots of effort into their costume. We have had a fantastic day, we also visited Poppy class to share our love for reading.
