Last week was British Science Week and we invited Fizz Pop Science into our school to deliver an assembly. The children really enjoyed learning about and observing the experiments. We are looking forward to the science clubs which will start after Easter!
As part of the Geography morning, all classes have been using laptops, iPads and atlases to locate countries, capital cities, landmarks, mountain ranges and rivers around Europe.
We have celebrated World Book Day with some fantastic costumes and activities today. We focused on Alice in Wonderland and completed some maths with playing cards. Then we wrote a prediction all about the White Rabbit. In the afternoon, we designed our own Mad Hatter hats, before having some quiet reading time. A lovely day!

For our Geography Day, we looked at rain sticks. We talked about which countries they originated from and understood why they were used. We decorated the outside before inserting beads and rice inside!
