15th February 2024

In Year 4, we discussed again what we mean by the term Mental Health. We need to keep our minds healthy as well as our bodies.

This year’s theme is Your Voice Matters.

We discussed how important it is to feel secure enough to speak out about what we believe in. We also talked about the way in which this should be done – with respect and understanding for others.

We watched some video clips about children who have changed things in the world by speaking out – e.g. Malala Yousafzai and Greta Thunberg.

After discussing things that are important to us in our day to day life and in the wider world, we created a spiral of ‘What Matters to Me.’
