Something unusual has happened in Year One this afternoon, our classrooms appear to have turned into farmyards!

We are looking at the Theme of Changes and today we thought about Spring time on the farm. In English, we watched a video which told us a little about planting crops and new animals being welcomed to the farm. During the afternoon Theme lesson, we used different materials to create farm animals out of paper plates.

This meant we had to focus carefully on our learning to make sure that we cut accurately and made the best use of the materials such as cotton wool and tissue paper.

Have a look at our creations- they are going to look brilliant on our displays.
